[North stared at him in shock. You heard about people who openly identified this way, but you never actually met people who claimed it openly and proudly.]

I think I need a moment to process this.

[ York continues to stand there, having been unable to squeeze in beside North as he'd hoped to do. ]

Take what time you need, North.

[ Now he decides to take a different tack. He puts his hands on North's shoulders, leaning in a little to meet his gaze. ]

I'm telling the truth.

[North did move over now, making space for York. Or he started to, only to have hands on his shoulders.]

I know you are. You don't lie to me. I just... You've been unattainable forever."

[ York lets go so he can now squeeze into the space North started to make. He knows they'll fit together on the bed all right once they're settled. ]

We've both been making assumptions about this. Sounds like...for a long time.

[ He takes hold of North's hand, turns his head so he can speak to North face-to-face. ]

I do like you that way. Have for a long time.

You never said anything, York. God this is stupid.

[ York chuckles ruefully. ]

If I said something to every person I got a crush on...

[ York rubs his thumb over the back of North's hand, looking him straight in the face. ]

I really like you, North. And I want to kiss you.

I'd say you should but... I probably taste like ass right now, from the drinking.

I honestly don't really care about that, North.

[ But he's not going to lay one on him until he's sure North's up for it. ]

And if I want to taste and smell nice for a first kiss?

[ York rubs his thumb along North's hand again. ]

In that case I guess you'd better hurry and go brush your teeth.

[Wow his heart is racing and he had never expected that. North is soon on his feet, and sure he staggers from how bad his head hurts, but that won't stop him from rushing off to do just that. He'll be back. keep your pants on.]

[ York remains on the bed, scooting over just slightly, closer to the center. When North returns, he waits until North is in reach, then grabs at his shirt to bring him down for a kiss. ]

[It takes a bit because he's got to get all the way to the shared bathrooms and get himself cleaned up. So he looks nervous when he comes back into his own room because what if York had changed his mind? And then there it was. York pulling him into a kiss. Yeah, this was a win.]

[ York is fully sure he's willing to do anything North wants to do—and it seems like North's feelings for him are as developed as his own. For this reason, he lets himself sink against the pillow, closing his eyes, enjoying the warmth of North's lips, and one hand on North's side. The other hand goes to the mattress so that York can turn on his side as he sinks down. As long as North responds as York expects, they'll end up lying on the bed together, face-to-face, and able to kiss as much as they wish. ]

[Oh of course he absolutely was happy to lay down with York. But he's going to one up the guy. Who doesn't like another, very fit guy's leg wrapped around their own, holding them close. Don't run. Just let him have this.]

[ York lets out a pleased exhale and wraps his arm around North, kissing him more deeply, more passionately. His tongue traces the inner rim of North's lips, and then he pushes it in further.

It doesn't take too long being in this compromising position before he realizes he's hard. They're close together, but not close enough for North to notice—not without York thrusting his hips in North's direction.

So he does. ]

[ His eyes open, just slightly, to see what North's reaction is. ]

[No, he hadn't noticed, but he'd had his own awkward situation developing. Something he had a feeling wasn't going to be a problem. He groaned and pulled York closer to feel the pressure against his body.

Fuck, it feels so good to know he can get York caught up, and he moans against those lips at the knowledge]

Fffuck.

[ He pulls back just enough to say the word, which comes out as a raspy squeak. He looks North in the eye for just an instant before pressing back in for another kiss, kissing him harder, more insistently, than before. His free hand comes to play with the hair near North's ear. ]

[Well this wouldn't do, because he wants to much more. He reaches for York and shifts the man over so York was straddling him. Yeah, the kiss was great. But it could be more.]

[ York rolls with him, now in a much more advantageous position, and he thrusts his hips down onto North's as they continue to kiss. Whatever is going to happen, it's going to be passionate and probably, probably, happen too fast.

But York can't bring himself to care about that. He releases the kiss to begin sucking and licking at a spot on North's neck, in the hollow beneath his jaw. Meanwhile, his hand comes to North's waistband, and he lets out a small, questioning sound to ask North if he wants more. ]

[Oh yes, far too fast. Or perhaps far too slow in the grand scheme of their interactions. North lifts his chin, trying to give York's lips more places to seek out. Quick lips those, just like the smart fingers that got them through so much and into so much trouble.

Speaking of quick fingers, there they were, trying to get North undressed it seemed.]

I hear there's no better cure for a hangover than all those positive endorphins. Go for it.

[ Ah, good. York's hips raise enough for him to slip his hand into North's sweatpants, and he grasps North's erection. He uses his other hand to lift North's shirt, and moves his bites and licks down to North's belly.

York's normally a very talkative person, but in the clinch like this, he's only interested in touching and kissing and groping. And right now he wants—

Well, there's a reason his mouth keeps moving downward. ]

[Oh god. A hand on him, so warm it feels like the best sort of burning.]
